Took a Sunday drive with the family in tow...

Decided to check out Chepo Saddle and cruise around...Got to stop by our favorite creepy apple orchard (the echos and acoustics were super eerie with the whole area blanketed in thick cloud cover)...Realized that the Bass Lake district was hit almost as hard as Blue Canyon with downed trees...Got to see a beautiful black bear run up the trail...Watched Tinman work that saw...And I got to drag a few trees from the trail...Then had to take cover in Pete's Place while the 3rd round of hail storms passed by.

Happy Mother's Day!  I hope everyone had as much fun as I did today!

Yeah, ya know I really wanted to stay home and do chores.  But RockBottom said she wanted to go to the mountains for Mothers Day, and it was her day, so who's to argue.  I just want it stated for the record that I went under duress.

do chores? what are these chores you speak of? there's not work involved is there? cause if there is... and you wanted to do that... rather then go to the mountains...   headscratch
