I don't often share my job on this forum because it is often too graphic.  I am in trial on a child molest case.  It is a very emotional case in which an entire family has been torn apart and the line has been drawn in the sand.  Two young girls are in the process of testifying and I can't begin to describe for you what that has been like for them and their family.  Please just keep them in your prayers.

Lots of prayers for ALL of you!  I can only imagine.  And if you're anything like I would have been as a cop, all you want to do is hug them while you blow the -------- away!!

I was pretty involved in our Sheriff's Department as an Explorer for many years.  They were pretty lenient with us and let a couple of us do way more than was probably advised or allowed by other chapters.  I didn't see everything but the guys would talk too.  There were some horrors.  Probably a good thing I didn't become a cop.  I'd always loved it tho.

Take good care and give yourself a break when you can.

On it Rodney!   Pray

These kinds of prayer requests are really important.  I am forwarding on a couple of worldwide prayer chains that I participate in.

God answered!  The jury convicted the defendant on all counts and all special allegations.  It was such a relief to the victims and their loved ones to have such a huge weight lifted from their shoulders.  The hand shakes and hugs the District Attorney and I received afterward gives me the greatest sense of accomplishment.

The defense called everyone liars and did everything they could to muddy things up and turn this trial into a circus.  God did not allow the jury to be confused but instead they saw the truth and did the right thing.  Thank you God.  Your servant, Rodney. amen
